Number of ERP Users
To Prepare a quote we need to know how many ERP Users you will have. This will impact both Training costs and time as well as the software Costs.
Controller, CFO, Financial Analysts, AP and AR as well as general accounting staff would need a license per user.
Any Buyer, Master Scheduler, Production Planner, Shop Supervisor who would be placing purchase requisitions or manipulating Production Orders or Job Bills of Material would be included.
Only include users who would enter Shipments or Receipts in the System. If this is done by accounting your number would be zero.
Your business IT Professionals usually need one or two users. Some companies don't require this as IT does not use or support the system.
This would include staff entering sales orders, setting up jobs (not including the engineering or purchasing), processing service orders etc...
Full users would NOT include users who only read data from the system, or users who are entering timecards, notes or "kiosk" type data. It may include Project Mangers, Engineering Designers, Inventory Clerks IF they use the system constantly throughout the day.
