Business Central Manufacturing Overview
Business Central offers four manufacturing modules: Assembly, Production, Jobs, and PrintVIS. The Assembly module is suitable for light assembly and kitting, while Production module is more versatile for traditional manufacturing processes. The Jobs module is tailored for project manufacturing, particularly in engineer-to-order scenarios. PrintVIS is a separate module designed specifically for print manufacturing, offering features like estimating, print workflow, JDF integration, and pre-pressed dockets. Each module caters to different manufacturing modes and industries, providing specialized functionality and integration options.
