Why You Should Go to Community Summit NA 2025

Table of Contents

Sabre attends several Microsoft Dynamics trade shows every year. Some are “private” events where partners learn more about Business Central by invitation only, while others are public gatherings that bring together partners, customers, and Microsoft to share ideas.

This year, we’re especially excited about Community Summit NA 2025 in Orlando, Florida (October 19–23). Why? Because Sabre is hosting a Pre-Event Party on Sunday evening, the same day registration opens! We can’t wait to celebrate with our customers and future customers before the week officially kicks off.

Invitations will be going out soon, so keep an eye on your inbox. And don’t forget to use our discount code SabreLimit10 for 10% off your Summit tickets.

I asked the Sabre Team to give me more ideas on why go to Community Summit.

Must Do Activities for First Timers

By Katie Johnson

Summit is such a special event hosted by the Dynamics community for the community and you can really feel that spirit throughout. The energy is incredible! So many new faces, fresh ideas, and learning paths, and everyone’s just as excited to grow and share as you are.

Being surrounded by people who are passionate about Business Central, learning, and continuous improvement makes the whole experience even more inspiring.

There’s a ton to learn at Summit. If it’s your first time, I’d definitely recommend jumping in and soaking up as much as you can. The sessions and events are a great way to get started and make the most of your time there.

Check out these sessions and events, they’re great for anyone, but especially helpful if you’re new to Summit 😊

Sunday, Oct 19: First-Time Attendee Meeting

(5:00-5:45 PM ET)

The BC/NAV committee will welcome all new attendees and share some insider tips and recommendations to help you get the most out of your first time at Summit. It’s a quick and valuable orientation.

Sunday, Oct 19: Sabre Friends & Family Event

(7:00-10:00 PM ET)

Right after the First-Time Attendee Meeting, we would like to invite you to our party that will be held at an undisclosed location in Orlando. Be sure to RSVP to get the location sent. This will give you plenty of face time with the Sabre team and our partners at InsightWorks, ExpandIT, PrintVis, Experlogix, Dynaway, and more! You must have a Summit ticket to attend this event.

Monday, Oct 20: The Keynote

Summit kicks off with the general Keynote and the Business Central Product Roadmap. These sessions set the tone and give you insight into where Microsoft is heading.

Tuesday, Oct 21: ISV Parties

Between five and ten partner-sponsored parties happen across Orlando on Tuesday night. Join Rob and Jenn as they “party hop” with the team. These events are a great way to meet people in a more casual setting.

Wednesday, Oct 22: AI Business Solutions Bash

(7:00–9:00 PM ET)

The closing party on the Coquina Lawn brings everyone together with food, drinks, and live entertainment.

Of course, Summit isn’t just for first-timers. Our President, Rob Jolliffe, has been attending for years and shared why the expo floor and vendor sessions make this event invaluable.

Expo Insights and Sessions

By Rob Jolliffe

I love to visit the vendor booths at Summit. I try and spend at least 33% of my time interviewing new vendors and trying to find the best ones to investigate and bring to our customers.

One of the biggest draws of Summit is the expo floor. With more than 250 vendors, it’s the best place to see the add-on products that extend Business Central and other Dynamics 365 solutions.

You’ll find three main types of exhibitors:

  1. There are other Dynamics 365 partners (like Sabre) who are there to attract the customer who is “partner shopping.” We know that customers occasionally (or often) wonder if the grass is greener – and this is definitely an option.
  2. ISV Add-on Vendors will be the majority of the booths and vendors on the vendor floor. These are companies like InsightWorks, Boyum, Experlogix, Dynaway and many others.
  3. Microsoft, Dynamics Communities, MS Dynamics World and other organizations maintain booths. Ironically, Microsoft can be a relatively small booth (but they have a big presence).

How to Make the Most of the Expo Floor

Walking the floor can be overwhelming, so it’s smart to go in with a plan. Here are a few best practices we recommend:

  • Know what you’re looking for: If you want to evaluate EDI or AP automation, expect 20–30 vendors in each category.
  • Confirm compatibility fast: Some solutions are for GP or Finance, not Business Central. Ask upfront and move on if it’s not a fit.
  • Ask for a budget range: EDI, for example, can run from $2,500 to $25,000+. Get the range quickly so you don’t waste time.
  • Use the floor to “level set”: Talking to multiple vendors helps you figure out the realistic budget and capabilities for your project.
  • Leverage your network (or us at Sabre): Every product has pros and cons. Ask around before making a shortlist.
  • Check supported vendors: For example, Tasklet is a solid WMS, but Sabre doesn’t support it. We support the virtually identical InsightWorks.

The vendor expo is where you’ll uncover tools and apps that can transform your Business Central environment, just make sure you shop smart.
