Shop Floor Insight is a manufacturing execution system that connects directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It helps manufacturers capture labour time and production activity using barcodes, touchscreens and other shop floor devices.
The standard implementation includes barcode configuration for production orders, supervisor approval setup, productive and non-productive time tracking, graphical dispatch and scheduling, shift scheduling and installation support. The scope and price are agreed upon before the project begins, so you know what the implementation will cost.
No. The fixed implementation fee covers Sabre Limited’s implementation services. Shop Floor Insight subscription fees and any required Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central licences are purchased separately.
Employees can use Shop Floor Insight to record labour time against production orders, including productive and non-productive activities. The app can also capture information such as consumption, output, scrap, rework and quality data, although some capabilities may require additional setup outside Sabre’s standard fixed-fee package. Shop Floor Insight supports shop floor terminals and devices such as standard PCs, Chromebooks, and Windows or Android tablets. Your device and Business Central licensing requirements will depend on how many employees use each terminal and whether devices are shared.
